We have no shortage of technology or programs these days that are supposed to be the next big thing in driving student outcomes. But what about the simple things that might just make all the difference in the life of a student when they really need it? It can be easy to get lost in fancy pedagogy but it’s so important to retain a deeply human sense of the need to just ‘be with’ our students and let them talk to us.
